A few years back Rosario Bruno was out in the countryside looking for the perfect valley to start his vineyard. Neighbors told him about an area near Galena, Illinois. While wandering through the hills and valleys of this beautiful countryside he stumbled on a forgotten farm. Rosario immediately knew this was where his lifelong dream of growing his grapes and producing his own wine would take place. So, he purchased the land and planted his vineyard. The work was hard and long, but to Rosario, it was a true labor of love. With his family and friends all pitching in, the vines grew and the grapes came.
